Responsibilities:

  • Functional safety design, implement and test (SIL, FMECA and related requirement according to machine directive, and standards including IEC 61508, IEC 61511, IEC-EN 26061, ISO12100, NPR-ISO-TR14121-2, ISO13849 for safety of machinery and process safety and EMC directive),
  • Co-ordinate of CE-label/conformity marking including Attachment I/II/VI, GE-Statement,
  • Assist in preparation of P&ID’s and participate in review meetings, HAZID,-HAZOP-and SIL meetings,
  • Execute calculations for all types of instruments, e.g. control valves, orifices, pressure relief valves,
  • Develop detailed specifications for all types of instruments and provide support during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  • Prepare data sheet, requisitions, technical bid tabulations and vendor document checking,
  • Produce documents for DCS and SGS systems; narratives, cause and effect diagram and logics.
  • Prepare conceptual and final designs at different stages, including the feasibility study, FEED and detailed engineering.
  • Supply drafting staff with information to assist in the production of detailed drawings, the development of quantities, materials lists and cost estimates as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical detail for quotations, E&I installation works guidelines and technical specifications.
  • MPC/EPC (Management/Engineering Procurement Construction) and detailed design (including ESD, F&Gas systems) by means of national and international standards for Oil & Gas, Power generation, Technical regulation, Technical safety, Fire safety and Telecommunications.
  • Making the basic measure and control design for the treatment systems which will be closely collaborated with other disciplines and participated in various meetings, these include design validation, safety study, control strategy, etc.
  • Specification of measure and control components. These include field instruments, analysis equipment, control valves, safety valves, junction boxes, cables, etc.
  • Specification of process control and monitoring systems. These include PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controllers), DCS systems (Distributed Control Systems), SCADA systems, etc. and the associated network components.
  • Technical support of the project team in purchasing the specified components and systems.
  • Creating the detailed installation design on which the purchased components and systems can be installed in the Oil & Gas and Water treatment systems. These include wiring diagrams, measuring cable diagrams, cable routing diagrams, etc.
  • Technical support of the project team during the realization phase of the project. These include for example; board out installation work, support of specific inspection activities, supporting the construction supervisor, support of the final acceptance of the entire treatment system.
  • In some of the by Frames delivered systems support for assembling, installation and commissioning of the system at the clients site.
  • Design, implement, test and document applications for, Process Automation Systems (PAS) which are developed for clients within project team according to the agreed planning and  functional requirements. Assist in start-up and commissioning activities of customers on sit.
